A day out in the hills aiming for some easy caches with Anna, Morgan, Dave and Sarah. Started with a trip to nat yr Ari in the pouring rain. Found this cache without any problems then had a hot chocolate in the visitor centre to dry out. Rain got heavier as we headed off to Elvis Rocks. We'd found this one before so we sent D&S of to find it on their own (it isn't far from the car!).

After this the weather cleared a bit and we had a bit of an adventure driving around some steep country lanes looking (without a map) for Pant-y-Dwr. We even had to use 4-wheel drive at one point, but still didn't find the village. In the end we just parked up and walked to the Cefn Cenarth cache which was found without too much difficulty. We did of course find Pant-y-Dwr on the way to Rhayader.

We then had a nice drive over the mountain road from Rhayader with a quick stop for the Earth Cache at Cwmystwyth.

A nice day out and a few more local(ish) caches under our belts.
